Mercy Hospital and Medical Center was established in 1852 and is the first chartered hospital in Chicago. Today, this hospital is part of a nationwide network of Mercy Healthcare facilities.
In the year of 2010, Mercy Hospital chose iBright™ E28i T8 LED Tubes to replace all the fluorescent tubes for the purpose of saving energy and reducing CO2 emission.
The installation involved a total of 5,800 tubes and was implemented in three phases. After considering the working environment, iBright™ E28i LED Tube (G2 EPS) were recommended, as it is the most reliable LED T8 solution available globally, and it emits no electromagnetic radiation. Thus, safety for patients and other medical equipments were ensured.
Mercy Hospital management was very satisfied with the project outcome.

Near beautiful Marina Del Rey, the Marriott Hotel completed the transition from fluorescent tubes to iBright™ tubes. For the purpose of cutting energy expenses and reducing carbon emission, Marriott Hotel decided to go green with LED lighting.
In the testing phase, samples from several manufacturers were installed and lighted 24*7 for months. During the test, the iBright™ LED tubes had zero failure, no light decrease and no color shift.
After collecting comments from engineers, directors and customers, the iBright™ LED tubes were finally selected as the only qualified product for this project.
When the installation was completed, the result was amazing! The Marriot Hotel saw a 50% drop on the lighting portion of their electricity bill.
In addition, the warm white color provided a comfortable environment to their customers.
Chicago Federal Parking Garage | Chicago, Illinois, USA

In May 2010, iBright™ E28i T8 LED Tubes replaced all the old T8 fluorescent tubes in the parking garage to one of the largest office buildings in downtown Chicago. The client was extremely pleased that the iBright™ T8 produced a superior light intensity of conventional T8s but at only 50% the energy consumption.
As this installation was for a parking garage, the tubes were required to work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, continuously. The iBright™ T8 proved to be the right quality product for this application.
The iBright™ E28i is a Max. 36VDC input, matching with a UL listed external power supply which is a 100~277VAC input. With the power supply placed outside the casing, patented thermal control technology, and a specially designed aluminum housing, the iBright™ E28i features the best heat dissipation and most stable performance; it will work up to 50,000 hours without any need of maintenance, compared to 5,000 or 10,000 hours from conventional fluorescent lights.
