Client is a food wholesaler, with a 140,000 sf warehouse facility in Landover, Maryland. They were looking to upgrade their legacy fluorescent and HID lighting in the interior (warehouse, refrigerated rooms, and offices) and exterior (parking lot poles, security floods, wall packs, and loading dock canopies). We upgraded all lights to Greenervolts LED, with a resulting energy savings of about 63% (and an additional estimated 15% savings from the fixture mounted occupancy sensors). NET project payback is estimated at around 32 months. PEPCO incentives contributed about 40% of total project investment.

We truly enjoyed this project. It showcases our expertise in LED lighting for large spaces, we got to learn a lot about the food wholesaling business, and best of all, we built some great friendships with Patrick and his family.
